Win7 connected to the printer to display the local print spooler service is not running

connected to the printer is xp system, printer model: hp laser jet 1010, open network share, when adding a printer in the LAN with win7 system, the following dialog box appears: < Br>
Looking for a lot of information is not very comprehensive. So write down the process of solving and share with you, I hope that you can connect to the printer for the first time, you can be less entangled, huh, huh
Solution:
1. Open the c:windowssystem32spoolPRINTERS folder, right click - Properties, cancel read-only properties, and delete all files in the PRINTERS folder (generally not).
2. Modify the registry
Run-regedit Open the registry
Delete all files under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlPrintPrinters
3. Open the service:
Open Control Panel-System and Security-Administrative Tools-Services ( Or run --services.msc), open the service, find the print spooler item, double-click to set it to automatic and start.
At the beginning, I didn't go through the first two steps. I just went to open the print spooler service. After I opened it, when I clicked on any other place, the service shut itself down and fumbled for a long time until I took steps 1 and 2. After the completion of the print spooler service, there is no automatic shutdown. It may be that the first two steps are directly related to the automatic shutdown of the print spooler service. It may be that other operations are fixed. This is not certain (it is certain that The system is not poisoned, and there is no shortage of the dynamic link library of the printer.
After these three steps, you can add a printer. It is best to turn on network discovery. Adding a printer by name will be convenient. Select the host that directly connects to the printer, select the printer, and follow the prompts. I used three computers to be successful. Ha ha
By the way, use Ubuntu Connecting to a network printer is not as troublesome as a window, and the direct connection is successful.
Method: Click on the shutdown icon in the upper right corner of the desktop ---printer -- add it.
