Windows 7 system directly view the wireless network password of the local area network

In order to prohibit access to unauthorized computers, the wireless LAN network environment generally sets a password. If the new computer wants to enter the encrypted wireless network, it is usually necessary to find the network administrator to obtain the wireless network password authorization to access. However, if the administrator is not there, the new computer has to access the encrypted wireless network, is it helpless? In fact, as long as there is a computer that has logged in to the encrypted wireless network and has the Windows 7 operating system installed, you can directly view the wireless network password, even if the administrator is not available, you can easily obtain the wireless network password.

The operation is also quite simple:

Turn on the computer connected to the wireless network and boot to the Windows 7 system. Click the network icon in the tray area at the bottom right corner of the desktop, select the wireless network connection to which you are currently connected from the shortcut menu, right-click and select "Properties". This will open the properties dialog box of the wireless network and switch to the "Security" tab. By default, the "Network Security Key" here will only display one small dot, which is naturally considered for security needs. Next, check the "Show characters" check box to view the plain text password (as shown in the figure). Is it very simple?

From the above example, it can be seen that the security of Windows 7 in wireless network is still considered. It is recommended to enable IP address filtering and MAC address filtering through the web page of the router, but it is better to leave before leaving. Lock your computer.
