Recently, Laptop selected three netbooks for battery life test. The results show that running Windows 7 on the netbook is not a good thing for the battery, and the average battery life has been shortened by nearly one hour. The netbooks selected for the test were: Toshiba miniNB205, ASUS Eee PC1008HA and HP Mini 311.

Take a look at the test results: Windows XP system, Toshiba mini NB205 battery life time is 9 hours and 24 minutes, Asus EeePC1008HA is 5 hours and 40 minutes, HP Mini 311 is 5 hours and 43 minutes; Windows7 system, The Toshiba miniNB205 battery life is 8 hours and 51 minutes, the Asus Eee PC 1008HA is 4 hours and 43 minutes, and the HP Mini311 is 4 hours and 52 minutes.

In addition to the Laptop test, Liliputing and JKOnTheRun also performed similar tests, and the results were very similar. The life time of the Windows 7 netbook was really unsatisfactory.
