Solve the problem of Windows 7 genuine serial number verification error

With the official release of Windows 7, more and more Windows users began to upgrade to Windows 7. However, recently, many users have reported that when using the genuine Windows7 installation, there is a genuine verification problem: when the serial number is entered, the error code: 0XC004F061 is displayed, which leaves many people at a loss.

The reason is that the serial number is actually an "upgrade serial number" and can only be used for "upgrade installation" instead of "net installation", so most of these problems occur in some upgrades from XP to Windows 7. User.

The following is the solution to this problem:

1. Do not enter the serial number during installation, ignore it directly, the system will prompt you to have a 30-day activation period;

2 After entering the system, without any upgrade, directly open REGEDIT.EXE to modify the registry, and change the MediaBootInstall key value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Setup/OOBE/address from 1 to 0 to save;

3. Search for cmd in the start menu, open it as an administrator, enter slmgr /rearm, wait for the confirmation box to appear after the carriage return;

4. Restart;

5 Re-enter the serial number, the activation will prompt the success;

Special Note: This method is limited to the genuine Windows7 serial number and installation program, and may not be applicable to other cracking methods or modified installation programs.
