Create "three heads and six arms" of Win7 Explorer

Windows 7 has added a lot of innovations, especially in terms of user-friendly aspects, which is more than a little bit better than the previous WinXP. However, in actual combat, there are still many unsatisfactory places. Take the resource manager, the new version adds a lot of features, such as the click-through address bar, smart details bar, content preview area, context toolbar, etc., but there is still a problem that has been bothering everyone, that is more Window management. Generally speaking, in one operation, we often have to open 2~3 resource manager windows. If it is a complicated operation, it may be more. A variety of windows are piled up on the entire screen, and it makes people feel a headache.

Kung Fu pays off, and when I find it, I finally found a gadget. Like the popular multi-tab browser, this gadget is best managed by multiple tags, but its target is not the browser but the resource manager. The name is called QTTabBar (not Tencent).哟~)

I. Installation and initial experience

The size of the software is very small, only 574 KB, don't look small, the installation process is a glance, like installation path, license agreement, installation Progress and everything are all available, not inferior to large software. The entire installation takes about 15 seconds, and the user will be automatically reminded to restart after the end. The installation is now complete.

After restarting according to the prompts, it is estimated that many netizens are stupid. How can this be the same as before installation, and can't see any multi-label window? In fact, QTTabBar needs to work with the menu bar, so you need to first click on “Organize”→“Layout"Open the Explorer's menu bar”, then right click on the menu bar blank and select &ldquo ;QT TTabBar”

Viewing one. Multi-tab browsing

“Multi-tab browsing” Undoubtedly the biggest highlight of QTTabBar, in fact, if you often use a multi-tab browser, you don't have to worry about it. With its help, we can enjoy the convenient multi-tab browsing function by dragging the folder (or partition) to be opened directly onto the tab bar. In addition to making the interface more concise, another great advantage is that it makes file management more convenient.

For a simple example, if we want to quickly transfer a file to another folder, we can open both windows in multiple tags and then drag the file directly to the target with the mouse. The label corresponding to the folder will do. By default, QTTabBar will prompt the file "Move" or "Copy" (to hold down the Ctrl key) to the target location, you can start working. And if there is a subordinate directory in the target location, the shortcut menu will pop up after 2 seconds, and the complicated structure is not too scared.

Viewing two. One-click browsing folder

Careful friends may have noticed that when the QTTabBar is installed, the folder icon seems to have changed a little. Hovering over the mouse will pop up a "down arrow", in fact, this down arrow is a quick selector for QTTabBar, which can be used to jump to any other subfolder under the folder, or even directly locate it. At the file level, with the right-click menu, we can perform various operations on the file just like in the resource manager.

Viewing three. Image quick preview

In fact, in addition to file browsing, another big point of the shortcut menu is to directly get the image preview. . This is the same as many third-party graphics plug-ins. When you just use the mouse to locate the target image, QTTabBar will automatically preview the image. Of course, in addition to previewing the graphics, the preview box also has simple attribute information (such as size, volume, image type, etc.), and there is no problem in getting the daily application.
