The following methods are applicable to Win7 SP1 and Windows
Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 system, Win8 users will not receive update reminders.

Microsoft official IE11 update prompt shielding method:

1, press Win+R to open the run, enter regedit to enter the registry editor;

2, expand the following registration Table location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMainFeatureControl

Right-click on the FeatureControl and select “New”——“item" and name the new item FEATURE_DISABLE_IE11_SECURITY_EOL_NOTIFICATION.

3. Right-click on the FEATURE_DISABLE_IE11_SECURITY_EOL_NOTIFICATION to select “New”——“DWORD (32-bit) value”, name the new value iexplore.exe

5. If you are using a 64-bit system, you need to repeat steps 2~4 in the following locations.
