I wonder if everyone has encountered a very strange problem after upgrading to Windows7: the DVD drive is not recognized by the system, it is only one in the device manager... The exclamation mark shows that there is a problem with the data signature: "Windows cannot Verify the data signature for this device. . . In the middle (Code52), there is a way to turn off the digital signature, so that the driver of the optical drive can run normally. On the other hand this is not a perfect solution. To completely solve the problem that the DVD drive is not recognized by Windows7.

Operation steps

Enter regedit in the start menu and press Enter. Open the Registry Editor.

Expand the registration key below.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

In the right panel, right-click UpperFilters and click Delete.

Click ”Yes  Confirm the value to delete.

Also delete the LowerFilters value. confirm deletion.

Exit the Registry Editor and restart.
