Win7 can't add files to the Windows Media Player media library

There is a strange problem, no matter how you can't add files to Win7's Windows Meida Player media library. How to do? Most of this means that the Windows Media Player data file is out of order and needs to be rebuilt.

The details are as follows:

Stop all Windows Media Player related services. Close Windows Media Player. Type “services.msc” in the Start Search box and press Enter.

If the User Account Control window pops up, please allow to continue.

Find services that start with Windows Media Player. If the status is “Started", right-click and select “Stop”.

2. Rename the Windows Media folder and enter the path %USERPROFILE%\\Local Settings\\Application Data\\Microsoft in the address bar. Enter and open. Find and right click on the folder Windows Media and select “Rename”. You can arbitrarily name this folder, such as Windows Media Old.

When you open Windows Media Player again, a Windows Media folder is automatically rebuilt, as shown in the following image.

Receiving work.
