How to use win7's resource monitor

The resource monitor is divided into five tabs, namely overview, CPU, memory, disk and network, which means that we can monitor each part of the computer separately. Related reading: What is the resource monitor how to open the resource monitor (1) CPU resource monitoring click on the "CPU" tab, we can very intuitively see the CPU's share of multiple cores, while also seeing each in detail How many resources a program's process occupies, and you can also view the services, handles, and modules associated with a program. In addition to viewing, we can also directly operate on these processes here: end the process, end the process tree, suspend the process, and so on. At the same time, we can separately screen out the monitoring information of a certain process, just check the box in front of the process, it is very convenient.
Current CPU frequency: If this frequency is dynamic, the current CPU supports Intel SpeedStep Technology. This technology can increase or decrease the frequency multiplication and voltage equivalent according to the demand of the system for the CPU, thereby achieving energy saving. Expand the column, you can see the list shows "image", "ld", PID & rdquo;, “ description & rdquo; and & ldquo; thread & rdquo; and other parameters, the meanings are as follows. Image: Applications, processes, etc. that use CPU resources. PID: The process ID of the application instance. Description: The application name. Thread: The number of threads currently active in the Yingchuan program instance. Average CPU: The average CPU load generated by the application instance over the past 60s, expressed as a percentage of the total CPU capacity. (2) Memory Monitoring In terms of monitoring memory, Win7 Resource Monitor allows users to visually see the physical memory and remaining memory that have been used, and also to view the detailed memory usage of a process. In the title bar, use the green flag to display the current hard error per second, and the blue clock to show the percentage of physical memory currently in use. Expand the column, you can see that the list shows "image", "advance", "dID", "hard error", "work set" and "collectible" and other parameters, the meaning of which as follows. Image: An application that uses memory resources. PID: The process ID of the application. Hard error: The number of hard errors per minute currently generated by the application. Shareable: The number of kilobytes of the working set of applications available to other applications. U-specific: The number of kilobytes of the application's workgroup dedicated to the process.

(3) Does the software in the disk monitoring system randomly check the privacy files inside the computer? With the monitor disk function, you can see which files the software has "moved". If the computer's hard disk is always flashing, what is the hard disk doing? What operation is causing the hard disk to read and write? In the "Disk" project, you can find the data interaction in the current disk. The two data in the title bar indicate the I/O transfer amount and the maximum active time, respectively, and their meanings are as follows. I/O transmission volume: indicates the total real-time I/O data transmission amount, such as hard disk, U disk, mobile hard disk, and so on. Maximum activity time: The last percentage of the activity time. Expand the column EI, you can see that the list shows "image", "advanced", "regular", "file", "read", and "write" and other parameters, the meanings are as follows. Image: Application List using disk resources - PID: Process ID of the application. File: The name of the file that the process is reading or writing, from which you can see what the process is doing. Read: The current speed at which the application reads data from a file. Write: The current speed at which the application writes data to the file. IO Priority: The priority of the application's I/O tasks. Response time: The response time of the disk activity. (4) Network monitoring Win7 resource monitor can see all the programs occupy network resources, including download and upload. I want to know which software is causing the Internet to slow down, or if there is hacking software, you can see some clues from here. The current traffic on the network is displayed in a green icon in the title bar, and the percentage of network occupants in use is displayed in a blue icon. Expand the column, you can see the list shows "image", "advance", "dID", "<quo; address", "send" "send" "receive" and other parameters, the meanings are as follows. Image: An application that uses network resources. PID: The process ID of the application. Address: The network address with which the local computer exchanges information. It can be expressed as a machine name, an IP address, or a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). Send: The amount of data that the application is currently sending from the local billing machine to that address. Receive: The amount of data that the application instance is currently receiving from this address. Total: The total bandwidth currently sent and received by the application instance.

Application of Resource Monitor View the network address to which the current application is connected Open Win7 Resource Monitor, click the “Network” tab, and then click the title bar of “TCP Connection” to expand Table. Find the process you want to determine your network connection to. If there are a large number of entries in the table, you can click “image" to sort by the name of the executable. Check the “remote address" and “remote port&colquo; column to see the network address and port to which the process is connected. Ending a program or process that cannot be closed normally If a program cannot be closed normally, we can open the Win7 resource monitor to analyze the problem in detail. If you want to end the program or process, you can select the CPU tab and check the relevant software or program. Search for the relevant file in the associated handle & rdquo; and select “End Process” from the context menu.
