Solve the problem of parallelism in movies under Windows 7

If you have been using a computer for 8 years, then you can certainly recall such a thing: when you use RealPlayer under Windows 98, Hero Super, etc. When the player is watching a movie, he often hears the "parallel" of Chinese and English (or Mandarin and Cantonese) in the speaker.

The so-called "bilingual parallelism" is actually the simultaneous transmission of Chinese and English (or Mandarin and Cantonese) from the speaker when playing audio and video files. In the Windows 98 era, due to the problem of the suppression of video files, users cannot mediate through the system or the playback software itself. Even after Windows XP, this problem still not solved very well. Now, the same problem can be solved well under Windows 7.

On the Windows 7 system desktop, right click on the sound icon and select "Play Device" in the pop-up menu (Figure 1):

In the pop-up "Sound In the dialog box, select the sound device you are currently using (the device in gray state is currently unavailable), then hit the "Properties" button below (Figure 2):

Subsequently, Windows 7 will pop up the corresponding sound device properties dialog box (this article is the headset properties), please switch to the "level" tab, and then click on the "balance" button (Figure 3):

Next, the system will pop up the “Balance” dialog box, where the user will use the slider in it to mediate the “mixing” problem in the video file (Figure 4). ).

After the modification is completed, in the process of closing each dialog box, you need to click the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the settings and exit.

Edit Comment:

From the perspective of the operation process, the method is very simple, but the effect is very obvious. After setting, Windows 7 can solve the problem of "Bilingual Parallelism" of audio and video files. In fact, Windows 7 features new features and new features in terms of feature settings. This article only shows a very small number of them. More new content needs to be discovered.
