What can I do if I can't find the WordPad in the Win7 Start Menu attachment?

Everyone uses a computer to install a variety of applications. In fact, from the earliest Windows until the current Win7, the "Additional" tab of the Start menu has built a lot of convenient and useful gadgets for us. We are familiar with drawing, calculators, etc. I wonder if you have encountered such a situation. One day, if you want to open the calculator, you suddenly find that the gadgets in the Win7 Start Menu attachment are all gone. How can you retrieve them?

This problem occurs. Generally, after performing some optimization operations or viruses, the system
has a problem, and the shortcuts in the start menu function table are lost. So as long as the program itself has not been deleted, you can call the relevant tools through the command.

From the Start menu, click “Run”.

Open & ldquo; run & rdquo; dialog

Type in the command line to invoke related tools. For example, type mspaint to call the drawing tool.

call drawing tools

Other Tools command:

Calculator calc

Notepad notepad

WordPad word
pad

Screenshot tool snippingtool

Notes stikynot

Calling tools with commands is only a stopgap measure. For future use, it is best to copy a shortcut to the start menu from another working computer and put it on your own machine.

Enter the path in the address bar:% systemdrive% \\ ProgramData \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ Start Menu \\ Programs

to open the program directory

Copy the attachment folder. Then go back to your computer and paste the attachment folder along the same path to replace the folder that was wrong.

Replace folder

Well, now re-open the Start menu to see if the annex project has been restored?
