Turn off web accelerator in IE8 under Windows 7

The security of IE8 bundled in Windows 7 has a lot of improvement in terms of security and page opening speed. In addition, IE8 is also beginning to allow more third-party web accelerators to enter. But in fact, these web accelerators are often just a "gimmick", which does not help the page opening speed, etc., and even the opposite effect of slower page opening.

Before the third-party page accelerator can really speed up, I recommend that users use the following methods to turn them off.

Click "Start", enter gpedit.msc in the "Search Programs and Files" box, and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor. Open "Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Internet Explorer → Accelerator", then double-click "Close Accelerator" in the right window

and then select "Enabled" in the "Close Accelerator" window that pops up. "Modified to "Disabled"

After modifying, exit the Group Policy Editor. At this point, you will find that in IE8, the web accelerator (including the right mouse button menu) does not exist.
