Win8 system network link name modification tips

When connecting to the network for the first time in Win8 system, the display name is “Network 1”, disconnected and connected again, displayed as “Network 2”, and so on, each time after reconnecting Will add 1.
Although we can not directly modify the network connection name like the Win7 system, but you can rename the network by modifying the corresponding key value in the registry.

1. Press “Win”+“R”, enter: “Regedt32.exe”, press Enter;
