Detailed steps for setting up printer sharing under Windows 8

The use of the printer is an indispensable device in the office, but the resources are always limited. How can a printer device be used by everyone? The best way is to share this printer. In the new system windows8, due to the permissions, setting up printer sharing will be a little more complicated than other windows systems. Let's take a look at the detailed steps.
Step 1 Add a printer to the host computer and set up sharing
1. Click the “Start” button in the lower left corner of the screen and select “Devices & Printers”;
2. Find the installed printer and right click Select “Printer Properties>;
3. Switch to the “Share” tab, click the “Change Sharing Options” button to make it optional;
4. “Share this printer” checkbox, enter the name you want to use in the "share name" below;
5. Note that this name is best in accordance with NetBios rules (no more than 15 characters); Br>6. Finally click the “OK” button;
Step 2 Client Add Shared Printer
1. The client adds the shared printer method is the same. In the “Run” dialog box, directly enter the IP of the computer with the shared printer set and press Enter;
2. A dialog box for entering the user name and password will pop up;
3. Enter the correct password. Click the “OK” button to open the other party's documents and device sharing;
4. Drag the other party's shared printer to the “Printers and Faxes” folder of our computer;
5. A warning dialog box will pop up "Connect to the printer";
6. Click the "Yes" button to search for and install the driver, and wait for a while to add it.
After the above introduction, I probably understand that to complete the printer's sharing settings, not only to add a printer and set up sharing on the host computer, but also to add on the client, although the steps are a bit more complicated, but as long as One setting can satisfy the sharing of office printers.
