SmartGlass technology can open Xbox and Win8 for multi-platform sharing

At the E3 show this morning, Microsoft showed off a multi-screen entertainment platform, SmartGlass. This technology can open Xbox 360, Windows 8, Windows Phone, and achieve content sharing between multiple platforms, which is also the implementation of Microsoft's "second screen" concept.

SmartGlass is a free software for mobile phones Windows Phone, Windows 8 and other portable devices. It transforms the tablet into a super-smart gamepad that manipulates the lineup and player movements in rugby games. You can also use SmartGlass to stream music, movies and other streaming content from your tablet to the big screen of your TV.

In addition to support for their own products, SmartGlass is also compatible with iOS devices (iPad, iPhone) and Android devices.

In a nutshell, Smart Glass is a multi-platform Internet service terminal that allows users to interact with the Xbox 360, Windows operating system, tablet, and mobile phone.

Microsoft will officially release the SmartGlass platform this fall.

Don & Locky, the head of Microsoft's soft Xbox business, said that the Xbox 360 has surpassed the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii to become the number one game console in the global market. Microsoft will launch a series of new games during the 2012 holiday shopping season, including the new generation of "Splinter Cell" and the new "Halo 4".
