Win8/WinRT compression and decompression files

  
        Step compressed file or folder

1. Open the "Explorer" in the following way: swipe from the right edge of the screen to the center, click on the "Search" (if you are using a mouse, point to the upper right corner of the screen , then move the pointer down, click "Search", type "Explorer" in the search box, and then click or click "Apply" and "Explorer".

2. Select the file or folder, click or click the "Share" tab, and then click or click the "compression."

in the file location would create a new compressed folder. You can rename this compressed folder just as you would rename any other folder. Simply select the folder, click or click the Home tab, and then tap or click Rename.

WARNING: If you add to the compressed folder encrypted files, the files after extraction will not be encrypted.

If you still do not see the "Extract All" command, the .zip file association in the registry may be corrupted.
