Windows 8 can log in to

  
without a password. We know that Win8 can use Microsoft ID to log in, thus enabling cloud configuration synchronization. However, since most of the users' Live passwords are set up very complicated, it is really troublesome to enter them once. In addition, frequent entry of the Live password will not only help to keep confidential, but will increase the risk of password leakage. In fact, if your computer is just for your own use, there is no need to be so complicated. Let's set up an automatic login for the computer with the author!


The whole operation is divided into 2 steps. First, we need to press the shortcut key Win+R on the Win8 desktop to bring up the “Run” dialog box, and then enter the command “netplwiz” to start the user account panel.

Next, click the user account for which you want to set the automatic login, and cancel the check box in front of "To use the computer, the user must enter the user name and password."

You will be prompted to enter your password later to verify your ownership of the account. After the prompt is changed, click the "OK" button and restart the computer. At this time, Win8 can automatically log in without any password prompt popping up.

In addition, the system will need a password to recover from sleep. The solution is to go through "Computer Settings" → "Users" → "When waking up this computer, any user with a password must enter a password" → "Change".
