Windows8 selective shutdown indexing skills

On Windows 8 systems, the index service is started whenever there are file changes or new files are added. But the use of the index is actually not big, but it seems a bit redundant. So, can we selectively close some indexes?

The method is as follows:

1. First open “ control panel & rdquo; select “ view mode & rdquo; select “ Small icon & rdquo;, then open the “ index & rdquo; option.

2, after entering the index options, click Edit.

3, remove the front of the hook, and then click OK to close indexing.
