Put the Win8 taskbar on the left and right sides of the desktop

The taskbar of a Windows system is usually placed at the bottom, but it can be changed. For many users who have previously used Mac or Ubuntu systems, they prefer to have the taskbar on either side of the screen. Let's take a look at how to put the Win8 taskbar on the left and right sides of the desktop.

Operation method
Recommended: Ghost Win8.1 64-bit system

1. Move the mouse to the top of the taskbar and click [Right click]. Click the [Properties] button in the pop-up menu.

2. In the pop-up "Taskbar and Navigation Properties" dialog box, click the drop-down box on the right side of the "Taskbar on the screen" position. In the pop-up drop-down menu, select the location you want. For example, here we select “right”, after clicking the selection, click the [OK] button.

3. After setting, we can see that the taskbar has been successfully moved to the right side of the desktop.

In addition to the bottom and right side, we can also put the Win8 taskbar on the left and top. Choosing a suitable taskbar location will help you improve your operational efficiency.
