Win8 application disappears after installation

The biggest change of the Win8 system compared to the previous Windows system is its Metro interface. Although the novel interface attracts a lot of users, after all, more users are used to the traditional desktop, and it is always a bit uncomfortable to use. There are still many users who have downloaded the application from the Windows Store but can't find it. This has something to do with the new Win8 system. If your application disappears after installation, you can try the following methods.

1. Fix the app to “Start”Screen

If you usually launch the app by clicking from the "Start" screen or clicking on the app, but at &"start&rdquo The app is not found on the screen, please check to make sure the app is accidentally unpinned from the “Start” screen.

To search for an app and pin it to the “Start” screen, follow these steps:

1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and click &ldquo ;search”. (If using a mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the pointer down, then click “search”.)

2.Click or click";apply”, then enter what you want The name of the app found.

3. If you see the app listed in the results, swipe down or right click on the app to select it, then select “pin to ‘start & rsquo;screen” .

Second, install the application you have

If the app does not appear in the search results, it may mean that it is installed on another computer, not on this computer. To check the list of apps you own and follow one of these apps, follow these steps:

1. On the "Start” screen, tap or click “app store” Open the Windows Store.

2. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen and click “your app”. (If using a mouse, point to the top of the screen, right click, and then click “your app”.) If you are not logged in to the Windows Store, sign in with your Microsoft account.

3. Swipe down or right-click to select the app to install, then tap or click “Install”.

Third, install the app from the app store

If the app does not appear in the "your app" list, then you do not have a license for the app, you must go from the app store installation.

Note: If your app was purchased from the app store, check your billing history to make sure the payment has been processed. Apps that were installed before the payment was completed may only be available for a short period of time and then stop working. For more information on how to view your billing history, see How to view your billing history for your Windows Store account.

Fourth, applications are no longer available

In some cases, apps may be removed from the Windows Store due to violations of the Terms of Use. When this happens, you will receive an email notifying you that the app is no longer available in the app store. The app will still appear on the computer it is installed on, but it will no longer work to protect your security.

The above four methods can cope with the disappearance of Win8 applications after installation. Usually, you can use these four methods to find the application you want to install. If you have any application, please try it out.
