In Windows 8.1 to easily create and print 3D objects

Maybe you do not know that Windows 8.1 is actually a native support for 3D printing. Windows 8.1 allows users to plug and play 3D printers, recognize 3D file formats and connect 3D hardware printer applications. Microsoft is also launching an app called 3D Builder that allows everyone to create and print 3D objects on Windows 8.1. Microsoft wrote on an official blog:

3D Builder has an object directory that you can use to create a wide variety of accessories and toys. Its simple and clean user interface lets you zoom, rotate and adjust what you want to print. In addition, you can add multiple objects to a single printer, or even transfer objects to another printer to create a new product. Created 3D print objects in other applications or printable objects downloaded from the Internet can be easily transferred to the 3D Builder application, even when using touch operations.

According to Microsoft, 3D Systems, MakerBot and TierTime will support 3D printing in Windows 8.1, to prepare for this year's season. You can even see MakerBot's 3D products in the Microsoft Store.
