Win8 taskbar input method icon is missing. How to do

  

Using Win8 system, the Microsoft Pinyin input method icon normally displayed in the lower right corner of the taskbar is lost, and the input method cannot be switched using win+space. The fault phenomenon is as shown below:

Solution:

1. Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. In the Open “Taskbar Properties dialog box, click the “Taskbar” tab Under the "self-righteous" button;

2. Pop up the notification area icon window, click the "Enable or close system icon" option in the lower left corner;

3. From the pop-up Under the “System Icon” window, you can find the “Enter Indication” option and change the behavior “Close” to “Enable”.

4. At this point, you can see that the input method icon is displayed in the notification area.

Remarks:

If after the above operation, the input method icon is still not displayed in the notification area of ​​the taskbar, only the input method icon placeholder is added, as shown below:

Please open the C:WindowsSystem32LogFiles directory to see if there is a Scm folder. If there is no such folder, create a new Scm folder and restart the computer to solve it.
