Add a shadow to the Win8 start screen icon:

Let's take a look at the effect comparison chart! The left icon adds shadow recognition and aesthetics beyond the shadowless icon!

1, first open the start interface, press win+PrtScr key combination screenshot (screenshot will be automatically saved in the photo gallery “ screenshots; rdquo; folder inside.

2, open the map with PS, and then create a new Blank layer, select “Rectangle Marquee Tool”The size is set to 120*120 pixels filled with white.

3, then a square is created. Then move the white square to the screenshot application. The icon's position is four corners to it, then copy the white square layer to another application and copy it in turn, as shown in the figure.

4, all add a white group to all white squares. As shown in the figure (easy to operate)

5, the next step is to add a shadow, right click on the new group 1 to select “ blend option & rdquo; select & ldquo; projection

6, set the group 1The degree of filling is 0%, then the shadow is done!

7. Finally, add your favorite background wallpaper! Choose a clear and clean wallpaper and put it under the group 1 and save it as a picture.

8, then you can use a third party for the background. Tools (such as Rubik's landscaping is good), put on the picture you just made and you're done!
