In Windows 7, we can create a wireless hotspot for mobile phones or other devices to connect to via the Network and Sharing Center's "Setting up new connections and networks". However, under Windows 8, this feature could not be found. However, we can still enable this feature through a command prompt.

But is there really no such feature? This feature can also be opened via the command prompt.

Right-click on the lower left corner of the screen to call up the mystery menu and select “Command Prompt (Administrator)”.

First check if the device supports creating ad-hoc. In the command prompt, type “netsh wlan show drivers”, in the results, view “Supported bearer network"," Yes>

Next, you can create a wireless hotspot.

Enter “netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=AbsZero key=password” at the command prompt. The "ssid=” behind the wireless network name, "key=” behind the wireless network password, the above can be defined, but the password requires at least 8 bits.
