Explain the new password function of Win8

The Windows 8 system not only brings us a convenient experience, but also brings us a new look in the interface. Its new encryption method also provides us with more secure protection. So, let's talk about the new password method of Win8 system today.

The Windows 8 system itself has three encryption methods, one is the traditional local account password, and the other two are newly added encryption methods. One is the PIN code, and the other is the picture password. Then the traditional local account password will not be introduced to everyone. I believe that friends who have used the Windows system will know how to set it up. You can encrypt the local account. You need to enter this password to log in to the system.

So first I will introduce the PIN code encryption method for everyone~ When we open the settings, click Change PC settings to select the user option, there will be PIN code encryption settings:

After we click Create PIN, it will appear:

This interface, when we log in with Microsoft account, we need to enter the password of Microsoft account, if you log in locally When you are in the account, you can enter the local account password directly. Then the option to enter the PIN code will appear. The PIN code is composed of 4 digits, as shown in the figure:

Enter the PIN code and click Finish. Then the PIN code is set. .

When we return to the lock screen, there are two login options, one is the Windows password and the other is the PIN code. You can enter any system by entering any password.

Then this is the new feature of the added PIN protection, and the other is the picture password. This function is very novel and can be drawn by drawing a gesture on the selected picture. The gesture is out to unlock. Let me introduce you to this new feature.

As with the PIN code setting method, we need to open it to set it, click the Change PC settings to select the user option, find the Create Picture Password option, and click into it:

It will also let us enter the local account or Microsoft account password:

We will then prompt you to find a picture that needs to be password protected. This picture can be selected from the local disk: Br>

Click to open after selection:

will prompt us to select this image, if you want to change other images, you can also click to select a new image to replace :

When we start to draw gestures, I will draw three gestures on this image:

We re-enter the gestures drawn to confirm, in order to ensure normal use, will be prompted when the settings are completed:

Click Finish. After we enter the lock screen interface, it is easy to find that there is one more login option than before, which is the picture password:

After clicking the picture password, the picture interface we set before will appear. In this interface, we can unlock by following the gesture of setting the password before.
