Service causes slow file copying

Symptom: It becomes extremely slow when moving files between two computers with Windows 2000 (using NTFS file system) and interconnected with twisted pair cables. Check the network connection status, the connection speed is 100MB, but the sending data is extremely unstable. It is often the case that the sending packet is 0 packets, and it takes more than 20 minutes to move a file of about 500MB.
Solution: I started thinking that the network card was in poor contact, but everything else was normal. After many experiments, the reason is suspected to be opening a service in Windows 2000. Open “Control Panel & Rarr; Governance Tools & Rarr; Service & rdquo; Discover Service & ldquo;Distributed Link Tracking Client& rdquo; is in the "Started" state, the service description in Chinese is "When the file moves in the NTFS volume of the network domain" Send a notification & rdquo;, then think of the NTFS partition used by the mobile file machine, so it is suspected that this service is caused. After it is disabled, the file is moved between the two machines again, everything is normal, and the file of about 500MB can be moved in about 3 minutes. In addition, when this service was started, it only copied, did not cut, and found that there was no such phenomenon, so the judgment was caused by this service.

★ Because after the initial installation of Windows 2000, the default is to start the service state, format the partition after the NTFS file system, move files to this partition processing, there will be network The data transmission is not smooth, and sometimes it is interrupted.

★Click on “Start →Run”, then enter services.msc to open the “services" window.
