How to change the HTML editor of IE "View Source" to Notepad, Word or Exce

By default, we use IE browser to open the webpage, right click, select “view source”, and open the webpage source file in an editor similar to the simple IE window. Although the code will be displayed in a high-bright color, it is easy to view. Figure:

But this editor can only be viewed and cannot be edited. This is a defect. In fact, we can modify the HTML editor of "View Source" into a third-party program that can be edited, such as Notepad, Word
or Excel
. The following Microsoft chiefs use IE11 browser as an example to share the modification method:

Click the gear-like "tools" icon in the upper right corner of the IE browser window, and select "Internet Options" from the pop-up menu. , open the "Internet Options" window and switch to the "Programs" tab. Figure:

In the HTML editing area you can see the "HTML Editor" setting options, select the program you want to use in the drop-down list (because the Microsoft Chief has installed a different version) Office, so here is a display of multiple Word), for example "Notepad", ok to close the "Internet Options" window.

You will use Notepad to open the webpage source file later when you view the source”. Figure:
