Solution that IE11 browser added to the compatibility view cannot be saved by the website

  
 

A user who found that the IE11 browser was added to the compatibility view was lost after closing the browser and then opening the browser, and the list of compatibility view sites could not be saved. Microsoft Chiefs here to share the solution to this problem:

Method 1: Cancel & delete the browsing history when exiting

Just add the website you want to add to the compatibility view to your favorites, and tick "“ delete browsing history when you quit"; Compatibility view settings.

If the problem is not solved, try the following method:

Method 2: Disable protection mode

Click on the gear shape in the upper right corner of the IE11 browser window>Tools&rdquo ; icon, select "<quo;Internet Options" in the pop-up menu to open the "Internet Options" window. Switch to the "Security" tab. Figure:

Then uncheck "Enable protection mode", follow the prompts to restart IE11 browser to see if it can solve the problem. If the problem persists, it may be a permission issue, then let's try method three.

Method 3: Add Current User Permissions

Win + R Shortcuts to bring up the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldedit", confirm, open “Registry Editor&rdquo ;, in the list on the left, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main, then right click on Main and select “Permissions'; Open “Main Permissions” window. As shown in the figure:

Check if the group or user name is in the list. Is there a user name for the current login system? If not, click the “Add” button to enter the user who is currently logged in to the system. Name, click the “check name” button, then click “OK”. Finally close the registry, restart IE11 browser to see if there is a problem solved
