How to check the system version number (Win8.1 as an example)

  

Sometimes we need to check the version number of the currently used Windows
OS
, Microsoft Chiefs will come with everyone To share the three methods of viewing the current operating system version number, take the Windows 8.1 system as an example.

Method one, use the command slmgr.vbs -dlv


Win + R shortcut key to bring up the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldmgr.vbs - Dlv”, OK, open the "Windows Script Host" window, you can see the version number of the current Windows operating system.

Method 2, use the command msinfo32


Win + R shortcut key to bring up the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldinfo; msinfo32", confirm, open “ System Information & rdquo; window, you can see the version number of the current Windows operating system, and there is more rich and intuitive information.

Method 3, View in the Registry Editor

The version number information seen by this method is the most detailed. As shown in the figure:


View the method, press Win + R shortcut to bring up the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldedit", confirm, open “ Registry Editor ”, navigate to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion” in the list on the left, and then you can see the detailed version information of the current system in the right window
