How to add hibernation in the Windows 7 shutdown option

Sometimes we need to let the computer
hibernate instead of shutting down directly. This option is available in the Windows
XP system, but there are some versions under Win7 that do not need to be added manually. This tutorial
will tell you how to add the hibernate option.

Operation Steps

Press the keyboard Ctrl+R to open the Run dialog box and enter the command: powercfg -h on.

After you've confirmed, you'll usually see the hibernate option. If you still can't see it, continue with the steps below.

Double-click the power button in the lower right corner of the taskbar, and click Change Plan Settings in the pop-up interface.

Change the advanced power settings.

See if mixed sleep is all off.

All problems can be solved at this moment. If you want to turn off the hibernation option, enter: powercfg.exe /hibernate off in the run box.

Description

Sleep: Cut off the power of other devices except the memory, the data is still in memory. A small amount of battery is needed to maintain the memory power. Once the power is turned off, the data in the memory is lost, and the next time the power is turned on, it is restarted.

Hibernate: Write memory data to the hard disk and then cut off power to all devices. No longer need a power supply.

Hybrid hibernation: Write memory data to the hard disk, and then cut off the power supply of all devices except memory. It avoids the loss of data in the memory once the power is turned off. The next time you turn it on, it is recovered from hibernation.
