How to show or hide the Windows 7 notification bar icon

Newly bought pre-installed Win7 system notebook, did not find your own running program icon on the task bar at the bottom of the Win7 desktop, a bit confused. In fact, this is only because I have done the taskbar notification area icon display setting for the Win7 system. In order to avoid interruption during work, I set some programs to “hide icons and notifications” status.

Operation steps

1. If we don't find the running program icon on the taskbar at the bottom of the Win7 desktop, just find a small triangle button at the right end of the taskbar and click on it to see the hidden Software icon, if some software has status changes, there will be notifications. For example, QQ has a message that the penguin icon will become a conversation bubble.

2, you want to set the taskbar notification area icon display is very simple, select "ldquo" in the above picture, or right click on the blank space of the taskbar, from the right-click menu Select “Properties> to access the taskbar and start menu properties settings panel.

3. There are many setting options in the taskbar and start menu property settings panel. Today we only focus on “Customization" in the notification area.

4. Click the "Notification area"""">""""""" The settings panel, where we are free to choose the icons and notifications that appear on the taskbar. Each program icon has three setting options: display icons and notifications, hide icons and notifications, and display notifications only. Click on the small triangle button on the right to select the desired option.
