How to easily create a VHD virtual hard disk with Win7 system

  
 

Recently using the Win7 system, I am slowly learning and experiencing the new features of the Win7 system. Some time ago I read some posts about the Win7 system in the forum, learned a lot of things, know that the Win7 system has done a very good function VHD function for the privacy requirements of user files.

Operation Steps

VHD is a virtual disk file of Microsoft Virtual PC. In Win7 system, we can create and mount VHD separately. Now we create a VHD file directly under Win7.

1. Right click on “Computer"Select“Manage", in "Computer Management", click on "Disk Management", right click to select "Create VHD".




2, click “Browse” or enter the path of the VHD we want to create, fill in the size and size of the virtual hard disk It can be determined according to the available space of the hard disk and its own needs. Others can choose the default. Once determined, the system will begin to create a new disk.



3. On the disk management page, we can see this newly created disk as “unknown”. Right-click and select “Initialize Disk” to partition on this unallocated disk. Right-click on “New Simple Volume", partition in the dialog that appears, or always “Next” until completed.
