How diskgenius copies hard disk

The backup of the entire hard disk is often used by big data players. The entire hard disk can use ghost to speed up the backup. The diskgenius backup is more powerful, and the entire disk partition structure is copied. Copying a hard disk function means copying files and other data from all partitions and partitions of one hard disk to another hard disk. During the copying process, the software will create partitions of the same size and type on the target hard disk according to the partition structure in the source hard disk. Then copy the files and data in each partition one by one. For the process of copying partition data, the software provides the following three ways to copy data: 1. Copy all sectors: Copy all sectors of the source hard disk to the target hard disk in order from beginning to end. It is not determined whether there is valid data in the sector to be copied. This method copies a large amount of useless data, and the amount of data to be copied is large, so the copying speed is slow. But this is the most complete way to copy, and the source hard drive data will be copied to the target hard drive. 2, copy according to the file system structure: according to the data organization structure of each source partition, copy the data "as is" to the corresponding partition of the target hard disk. The data organization structure in the target partition after copying is identical to the source partition. Invalid sectors are excluded when copying. Copying a hard disk in this way is the fastest because only valid sectors are copied. 3. Copy by file: Copy all the files in the source hard disk partition to the corresponding partition of the target hard disk by analyzing the file data organization structure of each partition in the source hard disk. When copying, the files in the target partition are reorganized as required by the file system structure. After copying the hard disk in this way, the target partition will have no file fragmentation and the copy speed will be faster. For partitions of the file system type that are not supported by the software, all sectors will be copied during replication to ensure that the copied partitions are consistent with the partitions in the source hard disk. This function requires the target hard disk capacity to be equal to or greater than the source hard disk.
To copy the hard drive, click the toolbar button "Copy hard drive" or click the menu "Tools - Copy hard drive", or select the "Copy hard drive" menu item from the right-click menu. Program pops up & ldquo; hard copy & rdquo; dialog:

the dialog box is open, the program will automatically pop up the source drive and the destination drive selection dialog. As shown below:

After selecting the source hard disk and the target hard disk, return to the copy hard disk dialog box. Then choose a copy method as needed. You can then click the “Start” button to copy the hard drive. The program will display the following warning:

Please confirm that there is no important data on the target hard disk, or important data has been backed up. Click the “OK” button after confirming it. The program will attempt to lock all partitions on both hard drives. If the partition in the source hard disk cannot be locked (the partition that cannot be locked generally includes the system partition and the partition where the software is located), the program will display a message similar to the following:

If you want to lock the source hard disk continue hard copy, please click on the & ldquo; a & rdquo; button, the program will begin copying process:
