Create shortcuts such as shutdown and restart in Windows8 Metro interface

Operation steps

1. Right click on the desktop--New--Shortcut.

2, write the following corresponding command--<quo;Next”--Writing a name.

Log off the computer: Shutdown -l

Shut down the computer: shutdown.exe -s -t 00

Restart the computer: shutdown.exe -r -t 00

Lock the computer: rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

Hibernate computer: rundll32.exe powrProf.dll, SetSuspendState

Sleep computer: rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState 0,1 , 0

3, select the created shortcut - click the right click property - click the replace icon - browse the icon and confirm.

4. Select the created shortcut - click the right-click property - click to pin to “Start” screen.
