How to make the Windows Defender icon boot in the taskbar in win10?

win10 tips sharing, Windows Defender is an anti-virus software built into Win10 system, which can protect our computer in real time. Microsoft Win10's own security tool Windows Defender v4.8 has added powerful cloud protection. The overall performance and security protection are also the best among the previous generations. By default, the background is silently protected by Win10 users. Many users have found that after opening Win10 version of Windows Defender, an icon will be automatically generated in the taskbar, but there will be no more after restarting the computer. So how do we leave the Windows Defender icon on the taskbar, or set the boot to automatically display the foreground?

The specific method is also very simple, we just need to manually add the Windows Defender shortcut by using the "Startup" directory that comes with the Windows Start menu. For detailed steps, please see below

Method 1:

1, Open Win10<;Start Menu" Local Path: C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu /Programs

2, Windows Defender shortcuts are stored in the "Windows System Tools" folder by default, the path is as follows: "C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/System Tools/Windows Defender.lnk"

3. Copy this Windows Defender shortcut and put it in the Startup folder to restart the computer.

Now, the Windows Defender icon will always be displayed in the lower right corner of our taskbar. Other similar software can be set up like this.

Method 2:

The reason why Windows Defender can't be found is that it is hidden by the system. First of all, we can retrieve this icon from the registry. Before the operation, I still hope that you can back up the registry file first, so as not to remedy after an accident. The cleanup master of the soft media cube (click to download) just meets this requirement.

1. Enter regedit in the Cortana search bar and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2, navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run.

3. Create a new string value and rename it to Windows Defender.

4. Set the following numeric data for the string value: “%ProgramFiles%\\Windows Defender\\MSASCui.exe”-runkey.

5. Click OK to restart the file explorer (easy to use the soft media Rubik's shortcut command), or log out and log in again, you will find that the icon has appeared in the taskbar.

If your system displays this icon by default, you can also cancel the display through the registry. The method is very simple. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run

are related to “Program Files\\Windows Defender\\MSASCui.exe&rdquo ; the value of the content is completely deleted and restart the file explorer. In Win10, the above related position jump is very simple, right click on "Run", select the last item in the menu to jump to each other.
