Microsoft sent email notifications to all Windows Insider members: Win10 official version released

  

Microsoft released the official version of Win10 on July 29th. Gabriel Aul, the head of Windows10 Preview Experience Program, sent a notification email to all Insider members. The relevant information, the full text is as follows:

Dear Windows preview experience members:

Hello! We've started to publicly release Windows 10 for the world, starting with our important members of the Windows Preview Experience. This is a significant milestone in the history of Windows, and thanks to feedback from members of the preview experience like you, we can proudly announce that this will be the best Windows version in history! For more information on this public release, please read my blog.

We invite you to get the final version of Windows 10 on your other computer. Also, let your friends and family know how they can experience the exciting benefits of Windows 10. Here are the specific methods:

• For computers running genuine Win7/Win8.1 – these computers have the eligibility to upgrade to Windows 10 for free via Windows Update. (You can also use the Microsoft Software Downloads website for media-based upgrades.)

• For computers running non-genuine Windows 7/Windows 8.1/Windows 10 & ndash; you can do it at your local retailer or at a Microsoft Store Online retailers such as .com buy Windows 10.

After July 29th, the Windows Preview Experience Program will continue and we will soon be releasing more information about the progress of the program. I hope that you will continue to join us and embark on this exciting journey.

Tips and Tips

• When using the final version of Windows 10, learn how to install the Member Center on your computer. Swipe left from the phone's "Start" screen and the app will be found in the apps list. Be sure to open at least once to receive important notifications from the app.

• If you haven’t tried Windows10 Mobile Insider Preview yet, you can still get it. For practical tips and tricks on getting started, visit How to use the Windows10 Mobile Insider Preview website.

Information for Developers

• Prepare to submit your app to the Windows Store by downloading the latest developer tools (including Visual Studio 2015).

Information for IT Professionals

• Windows10 Enterprise Preview has been updated and replaced with Windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation. This free 90-day evaluation version will help you test your application, hardware and deployment strategy.

• Watch the new features in Windows 10 Deployment for tools on how to upgrade existing devices with a simple on-site upgrade process, how to set up new devices to be readily available, and how to update traditional deployment tools And new recommendations for technology (ADK and others).

• Bookmark the Windows10 TechCenter – you'll find the latest tools and downloads, technical feature overviews, step-by-step deployment guides, and community forums to help you plan, experiment, and deploy Windows 10.
