Microsoft confirmed that Windows 10 system is sold and installed via USB flash drive without using DVD drive

. Microsoft confirmed to the media today that the company will sell a USB flash drive with Windows 10 system, and users do not need to use DVD drive when installing this new system. . There have been rumors for weeks that Microsoft will sell USB sticks with Windows 10 installation files directly, but the company has not directly confirmed whether it will select physical installation media other than DVD. However, a Windows 10 order page posted on Amazon.com today disclosed this in advance.

The Amazon website shows that the Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition sold on a USB stick is priced at $119.99, while the Professional Edition is priced at $199.99.

The Microsoft spokesperson told the media: "After the listing, the retail channel will provide Windows 10 with U disk as the installation medium. The suggested retail price for Windows 10 systems in the US is the same as for Windows 8.1.

However, in addition to Amazon, Microsoft's official mall, Best Buy and other online retailers have not found a Windows 10 system sold as a USB flash drive.

The date of sale on Amazon.com is August 16. Volkswagen has learned that Windows 10 will be put on the market on July 29, and the upgrade will be carried out in batches, but this does not explain the date of August 16. Perhaps this is just Amazon's unilateral arrangement, or it may be the release date of the Windows version of the USB version.
