Win10 new Edge browser Google can also be used as the default search engine

As one of Microsoft's "Main Products" in the official version of Win10, Edge's features continue to improve. Among them, support for Open Search is one of the most important features. The so-called Open Search, in layman's terms, is that browsers can add and use third-party search engines. For Microsoft's Edge browser, engines other than Bing are basically divided into third-party camps.

Today Microsoft's Windows 10 Edge browser engineer Jacob Rossi said on Twitter that Google has begun to support Open Search 1.1. This means that Edge browser users can also use Google as their default search engine.

However, in the current Win10 preview version 10166 released by Microsoft, the Edge browser "add search provider" is not available, and the current search engine is only available. However, since Microsoft has set this adjustment to the Edge browser, the current lock should be released after the official release of Win10.
