How Windows Vista System Optimizes Disk Performance

Some Vista users have reported that the hard disk light is always flashing during the running of the computer, and it has long been accompanied by the sound of “reading” and the machine running very slowly. The steps are as follows: Right click on “Computer” --> Select “Properties>--> “Device Manager> --> Expand in the window that opens “ Disk drive”, right-click on the appropriate disk and select “Properties> In the Policies tab, select “Enable advanced performance" (the default is not enabled).
