Win10 Preview 10147: Edge Browser Support Label Drag and Drop

In the desktop environment, the browser's multi-window running function is very important. Usually we can run multiple instances of the browser by double-clicking the desktop icon or the right-click taskbar icon. At present, the Edge browser in Microsoft's publicly released Win10 preview version can't do this, but there has been a big progress in the latest leaked 10147.

In Win10 Preview 10147, although it is not possible to run multiple Edge browser windows directly by applying tiles, icons or shortcuts, it is possible to run multiple windows by dragging and dropping labels. But you can't drag tags into the same window like IE, but it's a big improvement anyway.

Recently, there was a hot feedback on Microsoft's UserVoice website, and users asked Microsoft to add multi-instance and multi-window running functions to the Edge browser. William Moore, the user who submitted the suggestion, said:

“ When using multiple desktops in Win10, only one Edge browser window can be opened at a time, which is very inconvenient. We need to run different browser windows on different desktops, and we should be able to drag out individual tags to arrange them or move them to different displays. If you don't do this, it's hard to use the Edge browser as your main browser. “

The official version of Win10 will be released soon, but the progress of Edge browser development is slightly slower. According to Microsoft's plan, other functions including third-party extension support will not be available until Win10 RTM. Add it in.
