Win10 10049 can not start Hyper-V virtual machine reasons and solutions

After installing Win10 preview version 10049, it was quickly found that Win10's own virtual machine Hyper-V could not be started. After collecting the feedback from the users, it was not easy to find out the problem, but I also found a corresponding solution.

First of all, if you have not started the Hyper-V virtual machine in the Win10 10041 preview and then upgraded to Win10 10049 preview through Windows update, then you can start the Hyper-V virtual machine again. There will be problems that cannot be run.

If you downloaded the Win10 10049 ISO image and installed it, then it is not important whether you have enabled the Hyper-V virtual machine in the Win10 10041 preview. In this case, Hyper- cannot be run. V virtual machine.

Knowing the above circumstances will not be able to run the Hyper-V virtual machine, then we have a temporary solution.

Solution:

Just open the Hyper-V virtual machine in Win10 10041 preview (how to open the Hyper-V virtual machine manager), and then upgrade to Win10 through Windows update. With the 10049 preview, you can run the Hyper-V virtual machine.

Of course, to solve this problem at all, you need to wait for Microsoft to push the fix, or completely solve the Virtual Machines adaptation problem in the next Win10 preview.

If you haven't used Win10 10049 yet, you can disable Win10 to automatically update the preview version to avoid the Hyper-V virtual machine failing to start.
