When operating Win7, system files are often deleted by mistake due to some mistakes. Sometimes you will not be able to boot when you encounter this situation. Even if you can boot into the desktop, you will be prompted to find some files, which greatly affects the user's operating experience. The following small series to say that this fault is the system file iertutil.dll is missing, iertutil.dll missing has little effect on the boot, but always jumps out of the prompts to make people upset. How to solve this situation?

The reason why the Win7 boot prompt can not find the iertutil.dll file is because the IE browser in the system is uninstalled, the solution is very simple.

1. Right-click on the blank location of the Win7 desktop taskbar and select “Task Manager”. You can also use the Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys on your keyboard to quickly bring up the Task Manager.

Second, then on the task manager panel opened in Win7, click on the “file”-“new task' in the menu bar in the upper left corner, and enter C in the new task. \\WINDOWS\\system32 command, then click the OK button.

Third, then double-click the cmd.exe process, then type cd c:\\windows\\system32\\dllcache and press Enter. Then enter the copy iertutil.dll c:\\windows\\system32 command and press the Enter key. The screen will prompt a file copy to complete.

I encountered a missing system file, some cases can be directly processed by the above method, if it is directly caused by Win7 can not boot, then you may need to enter the Recovery Console to re-copy the file to solve. When Win7 starts up, it encounters the processing of the missing iertutil.dll. If you need it, you can try it.
