What should I do if the Windows system files are garbled?

My computer's Win7 system is in English, but after downloading and installing the Chinese language pack, the Chinese software downloaded to the computer still displays garbled characters. If the Chinese version of the system is garbled, we can solve the garbled problem by the following two steps.

Step 1: Modify the registry value

Registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\FontAssoc\\Associated Charset

Steps: Start - Run (enter regedit ) - OK or Enter, open the Registry Editor;

In the open Registry Editor window, expand: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control

Find FontAssoc in the expansion item of Control, and expand FontAssoc. Find in the FontAssoc expansion item: Associated Charset and left click: Associated Charset;

In the right window corresponding to Associated Charset: ANSI (00), left-click double-click: ANSI (00), pop-up edit string window, in the value data (V) column, change "NO", change to "YES", and then click: OK;

In the right window corresponding to Associated Charset: OEM (FF), double-click double: OEM (FF), pop-up edit string window, in the value data (V) column, change "NO" to "ld"; YES & rdquo; , click: OK;

Click OK to return to the registry Editor window visible: ANSI (00) and OEM (FF) numerical data are: YES, Exit Registry Editor.

Second Step:

Open Control Panel - Language, in the open language window, left click: change the date, time or number format to open the area dialog window;

In the Regional Conversation window, we click: Manage, left-click on the language item of the non-Unicode program under the Admin tab: Change System Locale (C)...;

In the Regional Settings window, click the small tick in the current system locale (C) column, select: English, then click OK, restart the computer;

After restarting the computer, we are In the Regional Settings window, click the small tick in the Current System Locale (C) column, select: Chinese (Simplified, Chinese), and then click OK to restart the computer. The garbled problem of Windows system should be solved.

If it is an English version of the system, there will be garbled characters after installing the Chinese software package. We can modify the registry value to solve the garbled problem.

Registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER]\\Control Panel\\ International, open the registry editor, expand: HKEY_CURRENT_USER]\\Control Panel, find in the Control Panel expansion item: International and left click: International; Br>

Locate Locale in the corresponding right window of International, double click on Locale, pop up the edit string window, modify the data in the value data column (V), if it is Chinese simplified, we put the Locale key Change the value to "00000804", then click: OK;

If it is Chinese Traditional: We change the Locale key to "00000404", then click: OK;
