Win8.1 Bluetooth mouse instability appears frequently dropped solutions

Compared to the 2.4GHz wireless mouse, the Bluetooth mouse basically does not need to be equipped with a signal receiving device. Because many notebooks are equipped with a Bluetooth module, many people start using a Bluetooth mouse. However, some users also reported that the Bluetooth mouse on Win8.1 is unstable and will be dropped frequently.

Some users complain that the Bluetooth mouse is unstable on his Win8.1 system Acer S7-191 notebook, and it will be disconnected frequently. And this problem has existed since win8, and it still remains like win8.1. Perhaps the Windows system has a bit of a flaw in this design, but we can find a solution to the specific reasons.

Checked, Acer's model seems to use Atheros's Bluetooth chip, this brand's chip usage is also very wide, it is estimated that the chip itself is driven.

Solution:

1. In the Bluetooth settings, select Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.

2. In Device Manager > Network Adapters > Qualcomm Atheros xxxx > Properties > Power Management, deselect <; Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power & rdquo; option, then open “ Advanced & rdquo ; tab, set the roaming policy to “Very high”.

3. Open Device Manager > Human Input Device. Right-click on each device listed, and if there is a “Power Management” tab in the new dialog box, deselect the “Allow Power Off” option and allow the device to wake the computer.

4. In Device Manager, do this for each device listed under "Mouse and other pointing devices", and "Universal Serial Bus controller".

Through the above method we can solve the problem of unstable Win8.1 Bluetooth mouse. In general, the use of a Bluetooth mouse is still very convenient, especially for Ultrabook users, it can save valuable USB interface resources.
