Now I will share my method as follows:

1: Run regedit, navigate to the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\htmlfile\\ShellEx\\lconHandler] branch, and delete the key named lconHandler in the right window. Close the Registry Editor.

2: Right click on the desktop IE icon, select the “Attributes”, and then click on the “Reset web settings button” under the “Programs tab”, confirm in the pop-up window, then close the settings window so that you can restore It is.

Why is it better to do this? Because when we install another browser, the newly installed browser will be automatically set to the system default browser, then the htm/html icon will be changed. Now that we have IE set to the default value, its htm/html icon will be restored to the IE icon!

PS: I added that these two files are very troublesome to change. The icons of other files are lost because they don't modify the registry, so it won't be too much trouble.
