Longhorn is faster than XP only because of a different experience in the registry

We have previously reported that Longhorn startup software is faster than XP, and a reader from INQ wrote that the only reason Longhorn is faster is the addition of superfetch to the system's Prefetcher mechanism. .

We can find that in the XP registry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management/Prefetcher has an EnablePrefetcher = 3, and in Longhorn it is EnableSuperfetch = 1. Moreover, we can also add EnableSuperfetch = 1 to the XP registry to get the same speed as Longhorn.

Microsoft just added a feature that exists in XP for Longhorn? Interested friends can try.
