Computer virus common sense: the harm of the virus

  
        Computer viruses can infect and spread, but this is not terrible. The terrible thing is that the virus is destructive. The main hazards are:

Attack the hard disk main search sector, Boot sector, FAT table, file directory, so that the information on the disk is lost.

Delete executable files or data files on a floppy disk, hard disk, or network to make the file missing. ;

Take up disk space.

Modify or destroy the data in the file to make the content change.

Seize system resources and reduce memory.

Take up CPU running time and reduce operating efficiency.

Format the entire disk or sector.

Destroy the BIOS content on the computer's motherboard so that the computer does not work.

Destroy the normal display of the screen and interfere with the user's operation.

Destroy the keyboard input program so that the user's normal input has an error.

Attacking the horn will make the computer's horn sound. Some virus authors let the virus play beautiful melodies of the world, killing people's information wealth in elegant tunes. Some virus writers make various sounds through the speakers.

Interfering with printers, false alarms, intermittent printing, and replacement of characters.
