Q: I heard that the ports in the server are much open, which will bring hidden dangers to the system security. If you close the ports that are not commonly used?

A: There are many ways to close the ports. A method of closing a system port by setting a local connection property.

First open the "Local Area Connection" status window by double-clicking "Local Area Connection" in "Network Connection" of "Control Panel".
Click the "Properties" button here to open the "Local Area Connection Properties" dialog box. Then select the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" item, click the "Properties" button, open the "Internet Protocol (TCP /IP) Properties" dialog box, click the "Advanced" button here, open the "Advanced TCP /IP Settings Dialog box, switch to the "Options" interface in this window, select "TCP/IP Filter" in "Optional Settings", then click "Properties" to open the "TCP/IP Filter" dialog box, here Check the "Enable TCP/IP filtering" checkbox so that the system will shut down all ports that pass the connection.
When you need to enable a port, we need to add it below, click the "Allow only" command on the "TCP port", then click the "Add" button to add the port number to be enabled. After adding, we add Continue adding "UDP Port" and then click "OK".
