AdDuplex report: Windows 10 Mobile slows down

Computer store news: According to the June tracking report released by ad network company AdDuplex, the proportion of Windows 10 Mobile in the WP ecosystem continues to increase, the current version accounts for 10.9% However, it is worth noting that the growth rate has slowed down, with only 0.5% growth in recent weeks, and last month's growth reached 1.2%.

It is also worth noting that these growths are not due to upgrades of older versions of the system, and the proportion of WP 8.1 systems is still the same as last month's 78.8%. The growth of Windows 10 Mobile comes mainly from WP 7 and WP 8, but this should not be through the upgrade, it should be to buy a brand new Windows 10 device.

But here are two things that need to be clear. First, as AdDuplex pointed out, most of the user devices are eligible for upgrading Windows 10 Mobile, and those who want to try have already upgraded. Microsoft has not pushed the upgrades to these WP 8.1 users, but the users have chosen them. This obviously makes most users not pay attention to this aspect.

The second point is that even though this 0.5% monthly growth comes entirely from the sales of new Windows 10 Mobile devices, we already know that the market share of Windows mobile systems has declined, so foreign media believes that the sales of devices It is also very small. So while Microsoft has been driving sales of new devices, it has not yielded significant results.

AdDuplex also announced the top ten smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile, with the Lumia 535 topping the list with 13.4%. The Lumia 640 ranked second with 11.9%.
