Windows 10 Edge browser real-time web notifications are coming soon more features

Computer Store News: After Microsoft pushed the Win10 first anniversary update preview version 14342, it wrote a separate article for its new Edge browser real-time web notification function, saying it will bring more features.

This feature is currently available on the Win10 preview version 14342. Win10 Mobile will also support this feature during the Win10 annual update this summer. Edge browser real-time webpage notification function: Open the webpage with chat function by using the Edge browser. The chat message prompt can be communicated through the operation center. After clicking, the browser page can be viewed. The effect is the same as the chat application. When a new notification arrives, The Edge browser will call the Windows Notification Platform API to pass the message to the notification center, and the user can handle it accordingly. Microsoft recommends that developers add icons to their web page notifications so that users can quickly identify the type of information and decide when to process it. If the icon for the notification is missing, the notification will use the default Edge icon. In addition, Microsoft plans to add more features to make the user experience better, including grouping notifications based on page type, ensuring that the notification center is not overcrowded, and that Microsoft is also collecting user usage of the feature. Prepare for the next step of improvement.
